And the Wheel keeps on turning, turning, turning...amazing that it is almost Thanksgiving time! I am thankful for my family of blood and spirit; my health; my relative financial stability; my hope for the future. What are you thankful for?
Greetings all! Big Dub Candy Mountain was a HUGE success: the kids were mindful, went a long way to picking up after themselves, and for the most part there were no trouble at all! We may even get a few new members out of it!
Check out the new Forum for SR11 ceremonial information. Planning is well underway. You can get involved by volunteering for one of the mimed ceremonial roles: Crew member of the good ship Argos, Earthborn Warrior, Cerberus: Three Headed Dog of Hades, or Dragon. There are also fun and interesting Backstage and Stagehand responsibilities.
Jair and I are so sad to miss Samhain this year! The forecast of several inches of snow has us scared (and pissed), so we'll be up next weekend to pack up the site. Love and hugs to all!
Remember last summer when BOD requested volunteers to be on the planning committee for FY2012 Drum and Splash? There were about 20ish of us who stepped up to answer this call. Who are you and do you still have a desire to be a part of this planning committee and to those who weren’t there that day but want to be a part of this make yourself known. go to Drum 'n' Splash 2012 planning thread
Hail All!! Please join Wraith, Pixie, Dave and Dawn for the New Moon service on 11/26!! Service will be late afternoon followed by dinner - location and exact times will be anounced here late next week! (Once we see the weather forecast and such!) Please email/message me if you think you will attend - this will help us bring enough cakes/ale/dinner!
