About me

Bill is one of the few public sector members of the board of the international Organization Design Forum www.organizationdesignforum.org where he has the opportunity to examine and support the next generation of organization designs, as well as leverage best practices for improving existing organizations. Over the past 30 years he as actively deployed innovations from the private sector in government. He has conducted organization design, development, and large scale engagement and change processes in local, state, and the federal government in the US. Bill was an architect of government change in the first Bush administration and then actively worked with Vice President Al Gore during the 8 years of the Clinton administration on the “reinventing government” initiative. He worked on deploying the first ever “Holacracy” (www.holacracy.org) and “Results Only Work Environment” (www.gorowe.com) in government. He currently is working on Design Projects in South Africa.
