Hello Friends!

As you may or may not know, the Moon Service closest to the Church's 'Birthday' is Feb. New Moon on the 18th.  (The actual birthday is Feb. 14th.)  I have asked Circe and Andy to let me plan this service (they had originally signed up for it) and they consented.

So, I'm having a 'Church's Birthday' Ceremony!  It's still formulating in my mind, but I really wanted to tell people about it and ask them to come out.  I will need some volunteers to play roles in the ceremony, and I especially want to invite those who have signed the Church's Charter, either the first one, second one, or both, to come out.  It would please me no end for *at least* two 'signers' to volunteer to read the Charters during ceremony and tell a short anecdote! Pretty Please!

If the offer of birthday cake tempts you, know that I plan on baking one.  Chocolate or vanilla, I'm not sure yet.

See you then!

In the next few days, I will be writing the script for this Feb. 18th ceremony. Anyone who wants to participate in ceremony by playing a role please contact me here, through email or through Four Quarters. Some of you have already, and I thank you. If you've been thinking that you might like to be in a ceremony someday but haven't yet, this is your opportunity!  I will be writing out the speaking parts, so you don't have to come up with things to say on your own. The format will be Stone Circle Wicca, but will *not be* limited to SCW initiates to take a part.

Hope to hear from you,

Okay, ceremony is written and emailed out to volunteers.  But it's not too late to play a part!  If you're interested, just let me know.

Hey Folks!  I just checked the weather, and it's predicted to be 48 degrees and sunny on Saturday!  With that in mind, it's possible that we will be having our Church Birthday ceremony in the Stone Circle.  So, I just wanted to put the word out to dress warmly, and perhaps bring a folding chair and/or blanket.  Sitting down for this ceremony is definitely permissible.

Hope to see you there!

Thank you, thank you to all who came out for the Moon Service!  It was lovely and I really enjoyed seeing everyone.

And I was very proud of the cake. Thank yous to Jonathan and Sophia for makin' it happen.

And the banner was rockin' too!  Again, thank you Sophia.
