Hi all;

Times are challenging for many of us, in many ways: physical health, emotional status, financial/livelihood, and personal growth. I was thinking that a place where those in need could post a request for others to send positive intentions might be helpful for those going through tough times.

This thread will help us to connect by providing a place to let our farm family know when those thoughts and prayers are most needed.
If you can spare a thought, light a candle, say a prayer or post a note it will help our members when someone they know is hurting.

If you or someone you know is in need of positive energy, please post below.
I'm suggesting some guidelines: requests should be for positive outcomes; requests on behalf of others should be with their permission; requests should specify help without harm to others.

If you want to lend support, please include those requests they can in your prayers, meditations, observances, etc. as appropriate. Simply posting a note is also a great help.

Much love and blessings to all,
Carrie

Dear all;

Thank you very much for your well wishes for my family over the last few months. Everyone's thoughts and wishes helped a lot during the challenging time of my father-in-law's and brother-in-law's passings. We are doing well; and as a result of these tough times have grown closer to each other, and continue to do so.

ALSO--I just received very good news that my stepdad's inoperable Stage III lung cancer tumor is IN REMISSION!! The tumor has dissipated! He is doing better than 70% of the people with this stage of disease.

Thank you everyone who has spared a thought for him! He had a lot of folks praying for him all over...another testimony for the power of prayer/positive thought.

I'd like to end with a positive thought to all those out there who have cancer and their families and friends. May they be healed, and enjoy life in the process.

Much love to all!

Dear all;

Please send thoughts of love and healing to Juliet Waldron, who had emergency major surgery this week. She is getting better, and should be going home soon...but her recovery will be long and hard.

Please take a moment from your day to think of her well and hardy, and enjoying herself at the Farm.

Juliet, we look forward to seeing you soon!

Much love and light,
Carrie

Dear Farm Family,

Please, if you can, spare a prayer or positive thought for Chris Carter. He was in a very serious motorcycle accident last week. He basically shattered his jaw, and broke his arm. He is going to be fine, but he has 6 long, tedious weeks of healing, and eating only food from a blender (porkchop milkshake-shudder!) Obviously, he won't be with us for Body Tribal, but he hopes to be well enough to make, at least, part of Stones Rising. So, if you can, send thoughts of bone-knitting, gratitude that it wasn't any worse than it was, and some patience for Chris as he goes through 6 weeks of healing, it would be greatly appreciated! (This has been posted with Chris's knowledge and consent.

Blessed Be,

Pam

I love that we can be on this forum and share with eachother the things that need prayer and support in each of our lives, it makes me feel so connected to all of you even when we aren't on the land.

My love and prayers and positive thoughts go out to Chris in his healing and living with a broken jaw ('cause that's not easy) I hope that he is doing as well if not better than his doctors expected him to. I hope Juliet is up on her feet and doing well, and I'm soo glad to be able to share in Joy with Carrie about her family.

I'm also hear to offer my own needs into the fire... I'm a director at a tutoring center and manage a staff of 25 people... last week one of those people passed away... He went in for open heart surgery and never came out of the coma that followed... I'll be going to his memorial service tomorrow and it's just going to be hard... but, we were dealing and coping and supporting the family and we almost felt okay about it... but then this morning I found out that one of my other staff members who's been here longer than I have (no small feat I might add) has been diagnosed with Lung cancer! So in an effort to keep the loss of staff to 1 or less in a year I thought it important to share with my tribe... her name is Isabella and this morning she asked us to send out positive thoughts hoping that the tumor is operable and that she won't have to live through too much kemo... (her byopsie is monday) I'd appreciate that if you can, if you could spare those thoughts for her...

Be well in all things,

Kate

Hi all;

Got a nice note from Juliet; she is at home, and slowly recovering.
Please continue to sent thoughts of healing her way.

Kate, I was sorry to hear of your colleague, and have been sending thoughts of support and strength to you, your colleagues, and his family. I've also been sending thoughts of healing to your other colleague, Isabella.

Love and prayers to all who are in need and would welcome it,
Carrie

  Dear Tribe,
  Two years ago I was blessed with your support while my dear Grandmother was ravaged by cancer.  Though she passed through the veil not long after Stones, I was still very grateful for the well-wishes and heart-felt condoloences.  I have done my best to repay that karmic debt since then but find myself once again in need of your assistance.
  My (widdowed) Grandfather is currently fighting an infection that originated in his kidneys and has crept into his bloodstream.  Everyone on his treatment team is optimistic that the two week course of intravenous antibiotics he will be taking will clear up the infection.  I say it is never too much to ask for a little divine intervention as well from your friends and chosen family.
  My Grandparents helped my mother to raise me until I was 6 years old and they are (were) as much my parents as my mother was.  He is a tough old codger who served in WWII and loves to watch his Steelers. I am sure he will come through but I cannot pass up the opportunity for a little psychic push.

Many thanks in advance,
Argon Jon~

My goodness.. I just got a call from one of my parents letting me know that her daughter is suffering a LOT of side effects from the concussion she got playing field hockey. She's now missed a week of school (during mid-terms) and is having a lot of trouble recuperating from the incident. She also just lost her father to suicide recently and the extra anxiety and stress from missing mid-terms is really having an impact on her depression. If you have a spare happy thought send it her way. Her name is Justine.

Your caring shows through in everything you do!

Warm hugs,

  I am sending a request for positive intentions on behalf of Sarah Barnes (aka Willow).  She and Wraith/Brian had their place catch on fire earlier this week. Fortunately they are all right and the damage was mostly contained to the living room.  One of their cats survived but the other, a rabbit and snake did not.  Further, Wraith checked into the hospital late last night and was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. He is currently recovering from surgery as it was so inflamed the doctor could not distinguish it from other parts nearby. Ia m certain they would appreciate any and all positive influence they can receive right now.

Thank you,
Argon Jon~
