So a few members of the Happy Valley Golden Wheel http://happyvalleygoldenwheel.org/ from State College, PA are planning to hold a retreat at the farm and conduct a four part Midsummer ritual spanning the day of Saturday, June 23, 2012 (dawn through midnight, with breaks).  Other 4QF members are welcome to join.  Please RSVP with happyvalleygoldenwheel at gmail dot com.

Pertinent details are in the attached PDF.

Some of us also plan to attend Orren's tour of the shop that day (http://www.meetup.com/The-Age-of-Limits/events/61071432/), so you shouldn't feel that you have to choose.

Hope to see some of you there!

This sounds great! I will see if I can be there, but I'm pretty sure I won't make the Dawn service...lol

So final prep is nearly done.

If the wardens of the land approve, we'd like to bury a small box of stones in the stone circle as a shrine to Osiris during the dusk phase of the ritual.

For the midnight phase of the ritual, we'll welcome and appreciate drummers in the upper fire/sand circle.  I may bring a drum or two for those without a drum but with willing hands.

Again all welcome but the stragglers (feel free to wait until the next phase); we'll try to keep sun-time.

Can't wait to see you there.

Thanks for helping us make this an awesome event!  We enjoyed holding it there and can't imagine it better.

It was small and that was fine - found a couple guests to join us.

I have some pictures from the event, which I'll post here.

Two from the dawn ritual to Ra.

We forgot to take a picture during the noon ritual to Hathor, so here's a shot the next day of the altar pieces sitting by the stream at Hemlock Hole.

These are great pics! Thanks for sharing them, and I'm glad you had a good time.
May I use the one of you and everyone in the labyrinth with the sun overhead? I'll attribute it as being during the Egyptian Midsummer Sun Rite...

thanks,

Absolutely.

You can attribute it to the Happy Valley Golden Wheel as well if you have room, but not critical.
