Hi Jon; Great! We will certainly make a stop on the Stones' Eve Altar Walk. Feel free to set it up earlier; I am sure folks would like to visit through Stones. Regards, Carrie "Never underestimate what a few dedicated people can accomplish." "Lovely Labyrinth Lady"

An altar will be set up at Camp Refuge dedicated to those who cannot make it this year for whatever reason. First site on the left beyond the wood pile at White Pines as you head down the road to Fox Altar. Argon~ |

Stones is fast approaching, and the excitement is growing! While we now have our Seven Shrines all set, I'd like to see if anyone is planning to create an altar at their site for their fellow tribe mates to visit. Please post here if you will have an altar, and where your camp is located. We will want to be sure to visit it during the Altar Procession on Saturday night! Love to all, Carrie "Never underestimate what a few dedicated people can accomplish." "Lovely Labyrinth Lady"

GNOMES WILL ROAM! Hoping to set up an altar of able-bodied gnomes at the entrance to Broken Gnome Road, where they may pay their respects to their less fortunate brothers and work healing magic for all things broken, busted, and worn. If that spot is taken or will create difficulties for those who have to drive through that spot, i'll just set them up in their usual spot by our campsite. -Aase "My name is Bobadilla Brown, and the mackerel on my hat is immortal." Hi Walter; We can certainly be flexible with where the tipi is. Where exactly do you want it to be? c "Never underestimate what a few dedicated people can accomplish." "Lovely Labyrinth Lady"

Hi Walter! Great news! I thought your crystal teepee was great last year. How about if we set it up somewhere in the North Crook? I know you set it up in Hemlock Hole last year, but that is already being used as someone else's altar. Have a good SunDance! Warm Regards, carrie "Never underestimate what a few dedicated people can accomplish." "Lovely Labyrinth Lady"

Many thanks to Sigre for volunteering to prepare a wonderful altar at the Fairy Cairn. We are still seeking someone to host/set up an altar for the Tribe to visit on Saturday evening! Is anyone interested in setting up an altar for Ganesh (Merchant's area), The maypole, or other place? Many thanks! c "Never underestimate what a few dedicated people can accomplish." Carrie- As usual I plan to have lights, etc. at the Faerie Cairn so I'd be honored to make sure it's a wonderfully vibrant venue for the "Shrines of Stillness" time period. Sigre2000@yahoo.com |

While all of Four Quarters is sacred, each of us finds inspiration in different ways, at different places. We invite everyone to create an Altar at their campsite to share with your tribemates. The Tribe will visit all the altars on the land on Saturday night, but feel free to create them at any time. The inspiration received while out for a morning walk may set the day's tone. If you would like to set up a Shrine at a public place other than your campsite (Maypole, creekside, along the road, etc.) please post here or email me off-line: ckrystek@yahoo.com Two points of guidance: - Make sure there are no open flames; candles in fireproof containers, and out of reach of flammable objects - If any creek rocks are used, they are returned to the creek before you leave Looking forward to seeing little Altars Shining Everywhere!
