As the blade is to the Male,
So the Chalice is to the Female,
And Conjoined, They bring forth all Fruitfulness, in truth.
Therefore Let There Be... Beauty and Strength
We move beyond “InterNet Spirituality” to practice a true nature religion within the incredible natural power of The Stone Circle at Four Quarters... Where for over thirty years the Wiccan rituals of Ceremony and Celebration have spoken the Sacred Names, and made The Five-Fold Blessing of Goddess and God.
Let There Be... Power and Compassion
Learning the traditional Wiccan practice of the Sacred Duality that underpins all of nature, from teachers representing diverse Wiccan paths, each with over thirty years’ experience leading both large group and small intimate ceremonies.
Let There Be...Honor and Humility
Experience integrated approaches to the study of Wicca as we explore both introductory and advanced topics, with actual hands-on experience, culminating in a complete High Gardnerian Moon Circle Rite in the Stone Circle on Saturday night.
Let There Be... Mirth and Reverence
Wicca is the joyous celebration of flesh and spirit, Wicca is a hands-on religion, Wicca is a tradition of balance between male and female, light and dark, and the Eternal cycles of the good Earth.

Join us, and learn the ways of the Wise.
At the core of Wicca one can find Universal Truths: The duality of Nature, the Eternal Dance of the Lord and the Lady chasing the Seasons through the Wheel of the Year. We offer a return to more traditional hands-on Wiccan Spirituality, which creates a sense of unity and harmony in tune with the pulse of Nature. Seeking the balance that unites us as individuals with the power and poetry of the Old Ways, and the Old Gods.
With The Chalice and the Blade, we return to the inherent principles of Wicca, creating a new teaching event at Four Quarters, and sharing our thirty-year experience of uninterrupted monthly Moon Services, and large public ceremonies. We will also feature smaller, more intimate ceremonies, and individual acts of Service dedicated to Spirit for the betterment of all who participate.
Let yourself be embraced in the compelling magic of Wicca, answering such questions as “Who is John Barleycorn, and how does he represent the Sacred King?” Introductions to the Elements and their correspondences, and advanced classes on crafting large group ceremony, up to “Drawing Down the Moon.” We will offer classes of interest to people of all skill levels, exploring the folk roots of Ancient European / Mediterranean Spirituality, and the importance of practicing a religion based on training, initiation and union with Nature
Join us in our truly transformative Stone Circle as we share the culmination of our efforts in our Saturday Night Ceremony, the High Gardnerian Moon rite in its entirety. Because, the heart of Wicca IS ceremony, and we learn ceremony by performing ceremony. Wicca is a religion of practice. Hands-on practice, which teaches real skills and builds confidence and personal power.
Wicca is more than a “roll your own” religion. Traditional Wicca has traditional values, traditional principles, and we seek to return to these principles, not to exclude, but to embrace the heart of a religion whose center finds the balance of the Lord and the Lady and whose perimeter is Infinity.
Join teachers from several well-known Wiccan traditions, such as Gardnerian, and The Cabot tradition, as well as some of our higher level initiates as they share their thirty years of experience on the Beautiful Land of Four Quarters.
We are the Wiccans of Four Quarters. We have come to walk this Land by many strange paths, over the course of Many, Many years. The lessons we have learned are hard-won, and the experience we have gained is invaluable. We have much to share....

Sitting Vigil at the Flame Stone before Ritual. Samhain 2024.
Principles
Nature. Wicca is a nature religion that must be practiced in Nature. We posit, furthermore, that it is impossible to gain understanding or real practice of Wicca over the internet.
Foundations. An understanding of the underlying myths and practices of the Pre-Christian Euro-Mediterranean Peoples is a critical part of the modern practice of Wicca.
Practice. Wicca is a hands-on religion. You learn it by doing it. With people who know how to do it. Four Quarters has a thirty-year unbroken history of public Full and New Moon services to share. This will be a real, practical hands-on experience.
Ceremony. The heart of Wicca is ceremony. We will teach the foundational elements of ceremony for the Novice, the nuances and fine points of large group ceremony for the experienced practitioner, and our highlight will be the Sunday evening complete High Gardnerian Moon Circle Rite with all the dignity and circumstance that implies.
