A note from Hunybee for this weekend's Moon Service:
The wheel of the year turns once more. There is a chill in the air and soon the trees will turn, presenting bright foliage of yellows, reds, oranges, and browns. It is the time of the autumn eqinox, and the time of Mabon.
Please join me as we take a few moments to honor the changing of the seasons, celebrate the second harvest, and give thanks for the things we have, whether it be abundant crops or other such blessings.
Service to be held at 5pm, with Church supper prepared by Toni Tarnalicki to follow.
Lecture Series – Water Protecting at Standing Rock: the blueprint for the Revolution with Genevieve Houck
Genevieve, who resides in Pittsburgh, PA, received the call from Spirit last Samhain, and with the encouragement of our 4Q family, embarked on this life-changing spiritual path in support of our Earth and indigenous brothers and sisters at Standing Rock.
Main Pavilion from 12 to 3:30pm. Includes the talk with Q&A, followed by light refreshments and a meet-&-greet for attendees. Moon Service dinner and Moon Service are a part of the day's events.
